News from the LSO Guild
The Lincoln Symphony Guild has announced its officers, meetings and fund-raising schedule for 2015-16.
New Guild officers are Min Minnehan, president; Jack Saltzman, vice president; Shalla Young, recording secretary; Ginny Parker, corresponding secretary; and Monica Warner, treasurer.
A luncheon and fashion show will be held Oct. 15 beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Country Club of Lincoln, 3200 S. 24th St. Fashions will be courtesy of Chico’s. Halloween decor will be featured and costumes are encouraged. Tickets are $45 and can be purchased from any Guild officer. Raffle winners will be announced.
Jack Saltzman will host a Chocolate Party at his historic home Jan 9. A selection of chocolate desserts and wines will be served. Tickets are $50 and may be purchased from Guild officers.
The Symphony Guild is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to stimulate community interest and support for Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra through educational and fund-raising activities. Four coffees and a membership tea are planned for members.
