Tim Dickmeyer has been the Bass Trombonist for Lincoln’s Symphony since 2000. He is an Omaha native and attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. Tim currently works as Executive Director of the Arts Center at Iowa Western in Council Bluffs, and has worked in arts management for several years, with such organizations as Omaha Performing Arts and the Omaha Symphony.

As a freelance musician, he has been a member of various performing groups, including Omaha Big Band, Nebraska Jazz Orchestra, Plymouth Brass, and Nebraska Symphony Chamber Orchestra. Tim has also performed with other groups, including the Omaha Symphony, Hastings Symphony, the U.S. Air Force Heartland of America Band, Nebraska Brass, and others.

Tim is married with two sons and lives in Treynor, IA.
