Dr. Archie Diaz received his DMA in Horn Performance from the University of Alabama in 2015. While at Alabama, he also served as the Head Audio/Visual Technician for the School of Music and Assistant Stage Manager for the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra. Since moving to Lincoln, Archie has been involved on staff with both the theater and music schools at UNL, where he works backstage, sound tech, lighting, and front-of-house for events at Kimball Recital Hall.
Archie joined Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra at the open of the 2016-17 season as the Patron Services Manager. He coordinates the operations of the LSO office and box office, as well as the front of house operations at all LSO events. Archie will lead print and digital marketing campaigns and supervise LSO’s visibility on all social media outlets. He will also assist in the coordination of education events and is responsible for overall positive public relations with patrons, donors, and community members.
